This is a good value Premier Inn hotel, set in its own grounds with plenty of convenient parking facilities and ready access to the next door restaurant. The staff offer excellent service and advice on the local Liverpool, West Derby area. It is reasonably priced as most outlets in this hospitality chain are. If you are arriving with an (extended) family you will appreciate the effort that has been put in here to accommodate your needs and wallet. The food (and the meal deals that accompany it) are well worth taking up as the difference in prices these days are not so small; and with a deal everyone gets a proper nosh-up before their visit is complete. This may not be the most obvious choice of hotel for those wishing to visit Liverpool town centre and tourist attractions but the journey in to town is only about twenty minutes by car and the public transport offer from this location is very good. I was here for five nights and never moved my car out of the car park once. In fact, I walked into town a couple of times and enjoyed seeing the local parts of Liverpool at close hand. The long and winding road it wasn't! Beatles fans will get a lot out of visiting and staying here. One niggle. The parking costs £5.00 per 24 hour period. Fair enough. But you are only given fifteen minutes to book your parking on the outside machine. After this, apparently, you a given a fine. I don't know about anyone else, but arriving at a hotel with an entourage and much luggage usually creates other priorities to attend to in the first fifteen minutes.
Stayed here on a business trip. Rooms were quiet, and bathroom was great. Only thing I’d say is the pillows need changing as mine were very flat and nicer coffee in the room would be great. (There were just sachets of Nescafé). The service however was excellent. They were very pleasant, and helpful. Always smiling and welcoming. I had a medicine pack that needed storing in the fridge and the ice pack in the freezer and they were happy to do so and the handover was excellent, so it didn’t get lost! Would recommend
I live in Somerset and travelled to Liverpool to see Anfield stadium on the 24/01/2026, this was a 5 hour journey one way. So, I booked accommodation elsewhere (not Premier Inn), this was changed and changed again, the new accommodation provided, smelt like cannabis, was not child friendly, and was in a dodgy area. For this reason, I went to Premier Inn (West Derby, Liverpool). Kev and Steph were amazing, they were so accommodating and friendly. The service they provided, actually made my trip a more enjoyable experience after the stress me and my family had experienced. They made such an impact that my wife bought flowers and chocolates for them both to say thank you. They are an asset to your team, I hope management sees this review and provides recognition for there customer service and understanding of my situation. Steph also sorted the family room out last minute. It was clean, warm and homely. My children felt safe and commented on how nice it was. I couldn't thank you enough for saving my weekend in Liverpool. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Nice large room, warm and clean.ots of parking even for a large panel van. Hot shower, breakfast next door. Overall would recommend.
Usual premier inn standard. Reception staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group and did some last minute changes to rooms to make it more comfortable for the two sharing. Breakfast was average and a little too busy but overall plenty adequate for the price. £17 in a taxi from town centre so location is ok.
My Partner Molly Readman and I have stayed there on a number of occasions The staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them They sorted a ground floor room for us as my partner is disabled. They helped me with the new parking machine.
